I am Dr. Irakli Petriashvili, Certified Public Sector Auditor and Associate Professor. My specialization is at the strategic frontier of Artificial Intelligence and Public Governance, where I investigate evaluate, and advise on cutting-edge solutions to maximize financial integrity, combat high-stakes corruption, and optimize public sector performance on an international scale.

My research agenda and strategic advisory work are anchored across distinguished international academic appointments:

As an Associate Researcher at the University of Sussex (GI ACE Fellow), my research focusing on leveraging AI to fundamentally strengthen Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs), enhancing their capacity to curbing corruption risks in public finance across Eastern Europe.

Concurrently, I serve as a Faculty Affiliate at Rutgers University - SPAA’s Transparency and Governance Center, where I lead a high-profile, IBM-funded project dedicated to integrating advanced AI and metadata analytics for the future of federal financial auditing and fraud detection.

My core aspiration is leveraging rigorous empirical research to identify public administration’s most vulnerable practices and build evidence-based frameworks for their strategic replacement and digital modernization through advanced AI capabilities
